Meet Chee

Chidinma Okebalama is her real Name, She hails from Umuahia in Abia State  Nigeria. 

Chidinma Okebalama aka Chee started singing at the age of 5, in her church at Port Harcourt Rivers State, Nigeria.She moved to the U.S to further her education at Northeastern University, where she graduated with a degree in Electrical Engineering. After working a couple of years as a System Engineer in the United States, She finally decided to follow her heart, and pursue her passion for music and a career in the entertainment industry. Chee was formally known as ChiDynma D'voice which she changed to Chee in 2013.

Chee  first made her presence known in the Nigerian Entertainment Industry in 2008 where she performed alongside multiple award winning recording artist, Banky W. during the Nigerian Reunion in Marlyand, USA. Fast forward 2 years and she is back in Lagos, Nigeria registering herself as one of the female voices to watch out for in the Industry.

Since she has been back, she has been hard at work recording with the likes of Don Jazzy, Sam Klef, Hakym ‘The Dream’ and Duncan Daniels. Her single ‘Obimmo’ has made its way into the Nigerian airwaves and has been described as a timeless love song. She has also performed at numerous high profile events around the country, ranging from performing at Bella Adenuga and Jameel Disu’s wedding, to the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria Pageant 2010 and Bashorun Dele Momodu’s 50th Birthday Party. She has been featured in various lifestyle and entertainment magazines across the Country.

Recently Chee as turned to the Gospel Music Industry. With her, Great voice giving us sweet tune and reasons to worship.
